Why all consultants should have an Online Course
Recently I met a wonderful lady at a networking event who works as a style coach. At first I thought this was mainly helping people to dress and present themselves well.
Whilst this is an important part of Julie’s process, what she actually does goes much deeper.
Typically her clients come to her feeling misaligned with their own radiance. Hoping to learn how to present themselves with authenticity again.
Julie quickly identifies the knock on affect this is having not only with appearance but also body language and communication.
So she begins work to address key areas of life that are out of balance and require improvement.
Then using a series of highly effective techniques Julie begins to challenge false and limiting beliefs that are causing these imbalances.
This in turn begins to shine the light into the in-authenticity as the truth of her client is revealed.
The key here is in the word process
Which ultimately makes the process of dressing and improving appearance quite profound.
The choice of attire, colours and style all become reflective of the authentic expression of her client.
Is it not in fact the process of revealing truth that many, if not all of us as therapists, coaches and even business consultants are doing?
In whatever context we are essentially removing false or limiting beliefs to enable our clients to radiate in authenticity.
To be in alignment with their truth, purpose and the resulting happiness.
But why ‘bottle’ this process into an online training?
Well the key here is in the word ‘process’.
Through understanding what the actual process is we begin to get a clear reflection and insight into what it is we are so good at and the service we provide.
The process creates a road map. One that we see laid out before us clearly indicating what we do, the level we should be doing it at and who in fact our ideal clients really are.
It is almost like reverse engineering a piece of software to understand what the important elements are that make up the whole.
The process of doing this reveals to us our own truth, our own authenticity and our own alignment to purpose in a way we may never truly see otherwise.
Nearly all of the highly empathic, heart centred business owners I facilitate always benefit from a highly aligned initiation into self ownership.
This passion and ability in me stems from having to do this for myself as a result of my own life journey.
Course design becomes a profound illustration of the journey
At some time or another we all battle with doubt, we all question our ability and whether we are truly in service in alignment with our purpose. Are we making the difference we were born to?
Yet it is the very process we have had to pursue for ourselves that paves the way for our clients.
When done correctly, course design becomes a profound illustration of the journey we needed to take ourselves and the belief evolution we subsequently take our clients through.
In this context the methodology of transformation comes through a series of steps:
- Identifying the current beliefs creating the current ‘causes’ in our lives
- Revealing new awarenesses that challenge those beliefs (usually through facilitation)
- Experiencing our lives change as a result of new awarenesses
- The new beliefs we develop as a result of these new experiences
- The new causes and manifestations we experience with our new beliefs
Our ideal clients are a version of ourselves
But how will we know how to map our clients belief evolution so effectively into an online course?
Simply because our ideal clients are a version of ourselves.
We have already walked their path which is why we in turn know how to teach, share and facilitate the same journey.
Think back to the process of transformation you went through yourself to be where and who you are today.
You began with a series of beliefs about yourself and your life that simply weren’t true. You may not have known this at the time, but your soul did.
Which is what was causing all the discomfort calling you to embark on your journey of change.
The journey of your own belief evolution.
It is when we truly take ownership of what we have done and now know, that we can truly expect our clients to do the same.
An online course brings many benefits to a business. It creates automated income, credibility and greatly widens our reach and impact.
It is when we go through the process of deeply understanding how we initiate our own client transformation that we bring the greatest gift to our business and our clients.
